We will start on the lawn in front of the Water Pump Station across the street and to the East of the pavilion at Flag Pole Hill. We will continue at Flag Pole Hill until approximately 5:30 – 5:45 pm and then start moving across the street to The Pavilion, thus, Dallas Field Day on the Move!
We will have our DARC Communications and Generator Trailers there to test them for improvements/modification proposals for future events – your input is welcome – along with your contributions.
We are requesting and hoping that we have a great turn out for families or individuals who are able and would like to spend the weekend camping out with us – remember this is a City of Dallas Park and no alcoholic beverages are permitted. We had several folks that camped with us in years past and had a great time. Bring you chairs and maybe an extra table for the first part of the event! The pavilion will have plenty of seating.
We will start Saturday morning with volunteers helping to set up and being ready to CQ CQ CQ CQ dah dit dah dit dah dah dit dah , Whisky 5 Fried Chicken at 1 PM! We will be operating 3 A with a GOTA station.
For those in attendance, DARC will provide Saturday lunch consisting of Hamburgers & Hot Dogs and our traditional BBQ Dinner being served around 7:30pm Saturday.
