This is a clean, mint, good sounding dynamic microphone. The mic has it's original 8-pin, round connector. I've also provided a pigtail to make the mic work with modern Yaesu rigs like the FT-897D and FT-857D with the 8-pin, modular jack (looks like a CAT-5 networking jack). I wanted to use it with the FT-897, but didn't want to cut up the cable or rewire it in any way.
The mic has UP, DOWN and FAST buttons on it to control the rig. Also PTT and PTT-Lock on the base as well as TX/StandBy on the mic body. I have an AR-22 rotator with control box that has the bakelite cover on it. I recd the unit from another op and it had been reworked and cleaned up. Will not need this unit since I have acquired a more updated model. The first $85.00 will have it and rememeber it is an "As Is" unit. The unit has been wired up and powered up. The control box lights up but I have not tried to activate the rotator. I would very much like to move this so I can make room for some more STUFF.
